-- You see rooms all over the place that are GORGEOUS and full of inspiration. On Pinterest, Magazines, Blogs. My Mother. Everywhere. (I mention my mother because She has this innate sense of decorating and creating that drives me a little crazy. Why? I wish I could do half of what she does.)

So I decided that I wanted  my own room full of my own D.I.Y. ideas, creations, and designs.

OPERATION: GET A ROOM
STATUS: COMMENCED

Perhaps, I should start by saying I have one HUGE room. So I broke it down into two rooms

1. My room (My actual space)

2. My Living Room
( "Sitting Room" As my Mother would say because it's connected in all actuality to my bed room. )

WHOA!
I had already started on the huge project before I got the brilliant idea to blog and post pictures about what I was doing. So all these "Before" Pictures are pretty sad but what was I supposed to do describe what it looked like. Naw, I'll deal with the shame.

                                                         Before (Living Room) Wall #1

Here is one wall in my current Living Room. It was Safari and please excuse that awful lamp shade.  I decided that the orange, the animal print, and the straw grassy thing-a-ma-jig had to go. I love Safari but it really just isn't my thing. :(

Before (Living Room Opposite Wall) #2
I was in the middle of organizing and it wasn't truly as bad as it seems. Promise
Before Wall -- Bed Room
I had started painting and removing the grassy thing
before I took pictures. So excuse the paint doodling on the wall.

**Ok... In order for me to make a masterpiece I apparently (in everything I do by the way)
have to make a BIG MESS. Hence this next picture. I have my closet/drawers/selves and everything else I could find piled high on my bed...
I guess it's just how I roll. I'm only human.

SO there is a little bit of my BEFORE. Be excited guys... A bad before makes for a wonderful AFTER right? If anyone has tips or comments on how to organize and in the process not get it everywhere feel free to let me in on a secret.
